The backboard is made with a paper resin composite material and can withstand inclement weather, such as heat, cold, and moisture. The color is throughout the material so that the backboard never needs painting. It is lightweight, and a four foot by six foot board only weighs 39 pounds. The backboard is rigid, yet flexible enough to give the tennis ball a nice rebound.
The frame is made with heavy duty 12 gage galvanized steel and can withstand adverse weather conditions. The frame can be installed on a variety of structures, such as on a chain-link fence, a brick wall, a concrete wall, a garage wall, or a portable platform.
